The Eco Eden Lodge is currently in construction and should be completed by mid-summer; weather permitting. The Lodge will be unique among the worlds’ resorts, offering the visitor a complete offering of activities to give one a “real” tour of the true Belizean rainforest. One will be able to hike, fish, swim, view wildlife and waterfalls, go intertubing, kayaking, caving, see mayan ruins, go horseback riding as well as tour a working fruit farm, fresh water lobster farm, hummingbird and butterfly garden. The farm has a multitude of fruits and vegetables growing year round as well as crystal clear fresh water for the guests to consume and tour free of charge. There are several trails designed to give the visitor a complete tour and appreciation of the property and all it has to offer. The Eco Eden will truly be a complete and unforgettable experience designed to enhance man’s understanding and appreciation of nature and his place within in it. The idea is for one to find peace within via contemplation and relaxation while at the same time exploring the treasures of the complex biodiversity of the rainforest.
